Facing the Company Garden, on the right you will find the Courts on Queen Victoria Road (Interesting fact, the top of Queen Vic road is the smallest pass in the world). The building actually faces the wrong way. It was proposed to face the park but because the offices were situated in the back of the building, a prominent douche bag had the building flipped so he could have a view of the park.
During apartheid, when everything was separated, benches were placed with clear marking of who is allowed to sit where. These benches remain today and provide a stark and unfriendly look at where South Africa once was.
Go have a look.
